The XR24 is the new REDS engine designed specifically for Truggy scale. With its displacement of 4 cc (0.24 cu.in.), the engine provides the perfect balance between performance and low fuel consumption. High reliability and ease of carburetion make it perfect for competitions.
Perfect torque
Thanks to the ABC cylinder configuration, 5 inlet ports and single exhaust port, the engine provides maximum torque at each rpm, and ensures low fuel consumption. This cylinder makes the engine suitable for every type of track.
Precise carburetion
Our aluminium-plastic technology provides extreme carburetion stability. Interchangeable venturi and single adjustment minimum needle, facilitating the engine carburetion to achieve high performance.
Flat Piston
All our off-road engines use flat pistons matched to a specific combustion chamber for high performance and low consumption. Made from a high strength aluminium bar, our piston is a true masterpiece of engineering.
Ultra-light rod
Lightweight, durable and reliable, this is the standard quality of our connecting rod. The slim shape is designed to minimize aerodynamic friction. The double bush technology ensures high reliability.
DT Manifold
The engine is developed to work with the new Dual-Tube exhaust system to guarantee large fuel saving and linear power output. This new manifold uses a four spring connection system, for both pipe and engine side, and the best quality high strength aluminum to ensure high reliability. The manifold, combined with EFRA 2083 or 2021pipes, guarantees the best performance.
